Community Investment

At Keyera, we have a long tradition of investing in the communities we call home.

We are committed to being a responsible and contributing citizen in the communities where we operate, and we encourage our employees to give back to organizations that make a difference in the communities where they live.

Keyera’s Community Investment program is centered around four pillars:

Our Community Investment program is aligned with our values and aims to develop safe, thriving and vibrant communities.

Employee volunteering

Each of our employees is entitled to two paid days off to volunteer in their communities as a means of giving back. To us, giving back is part of being a good neighbor, and we want to make sure our employees have time to invest in the charities that mean the most to them.

The program is used frequently, and has a participation rate of around 85%. Our employees spend around 6,500 hours giving back in their communities throughout the year.

ANNUAL UNITED WAY CAMPAIGN

Each year, Keyera holds a week-long campaign in support of the United Way. This annual fundraiser continues to exceed campaign goals and get increased employee participation through various events such as the executive wrap up party, "Days of Caring" volunteer opportunities and fundraising lunches. The dedication from our executives, management and employees, across all of our operating areas, has contributed to Keyera's fundraising success.

Since beginning our annual United Way campaign many years ago, Keyera has raised millions of dollars for the United Way and its partnered charities in our operating areas. The United Way provides support to agencies that help individuals and families in our communities reach their full potential.
