For the third consecutive year, Keyera has been ranked as one of the top 60 places to work in Alberta. The designation recognizes employers across the province who lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.
Employers that made the Top 60 list were evaluated on a number of criteria including work and social atmosphere; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; benefit programs and training and development, among others.
Keyera was recognized for a number of its benefit, time off and professional development programs. The highlights of Keyera’s nomination included retirement planning programs, our defined pension contribution plan, vacation and time-off allowances and employee development and training programs.
“At Keyera we value being an employer of choice in Alberta and being recognized for supporting our employees in growing their careers and accomplishing their goals,” said Dion Kostiuk, Keyera’s Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Services.
The 2013 winners were announced the beginning of February in a special supplement published in the Calgary Herald and the Edmonton Journal. The Top Employers 2013 survey is conducted by the Eluta group in partnership with the Human Resources Institute of Alberta.
Other employers who made the top 60 list include WestJet Airlines, ENMAX Corporation, ATB Financial and Trican Well Service Ltd.
